A Celebration In Song

On Saturday, February 15, the Des Moines Choral Society will join forces with two renowned collegiate ensembles – the lowa State Singers and the Luther College Nordic Choir – for a beautiful evening of music. You’ll hear individual sets from all three choirs, in addition to a closing piece by the combined groups. A wide spectrum of composers from around the world will be featured, from masters of the past such as Brahms, Sweelinck, Gallus, and Howells to current composers such as Gyöngyösi, Runestad, Kirchner, Cook, and others.

We look forward to interacting with these collegiate singers, demonstrating that continued choral singing can provide lifelong joy. Join us for this celebration in song!

• $25 general seating (no preferred section)

]St Ambrose Cathedral is located at 607 High Street in Des Moines. Parking is available north of the church and on Watson Powell Jr. Drive. The east door is a handicapped entrance to the Cathedral. Doors open at 7:00 PM; concert starts at 7:30 PM
